Job Description

Schedule/Hours:
12-hour night shifts No call Every other weekend and major holidays required
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid RN license (state or compact) At least 2 years of ER experience or 1 year in a freestanding ED Previous travel nursing assignments required Critical care and conscious sedation experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, NRP, and CPI/De-escalation certifications Must pass EKG exam at orientation (study guide provided) Experience with team triage, ventilator management (onsite training provided), stroke, STEMI, and sepsis patients

Responsibilities:
Deliver and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop care plans and implement treatments Administer medications and initiate interventions for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics Prioritize rapid assessment, stabilization, and care for various acute and chronic conditions Provide patient and family education, support, and advocacy throughout the care process Comply with safety and quality standards while modeling professional and compassionate behavior
