Schedule:
12-hour night shifts No call required Every other weekend and major holiday requiredRequired Qualifications & Experience:
Compact state or VA RN license (active and in good standing) BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, NRP, CPI/De-escalation certification Pass EKG Exam at Orientation (study guide provided) Minimum 2 years of ER experience or 1 year in a freestanding ED Prior travel assignment experience Critical care and conscious sedation experience Proficiency or willingness to train in ventilator management, compounding medications, and use of Zoll defibrillators Strong communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Assess and triage diverse patient populations, from pediatric to geriatric Implement care plans and evaluate treatment effectiveness Administer medications safely and manage emergencies (stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma stabilization) Serve as a patient advocate and support safe, quality care Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and coordinate with external agencies Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Educate colleagues, patients, and familiesBenefits & Perks:
