Job Description
Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Set just outside the vibrant heart of central Texas, New Braunfels offers a unique blend of Hill Country charm, picturesque river scenery, and an inviting community spirit. It's the perfect place to expand your professional horizons as a traveling ER RN, with ample opportunities to learn from collaborative teams and a variety of clinical situations—all while enjoying authentic local cuisine, historic districts, and ample outdoor adventure during your downtime. This travel nursing opportunity is designed for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and seek meaningful patient connections. Here, you'll work full-time 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7AM) with a requirement of six weekend shifts per six-week period. The dynamic Emergency Department setting will expose you to diverse leadership styles and innovative clinical practices, enriching your resume and delivering both professional and personal growth.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid RN license in Texas or compact state BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required) TNCC certification Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Minimum one year of experience in emergency nursing specialty preferred Commitment to attend New Nurses Orientation (within 30 days of hire) Willingness to complete department-specific orientation, skills, and competency verification Strong adaptability and a passion for patient-centered careCore Responsibilities:
Independently deliver both routine and complex patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for adverse effects and efficacy Document all patient interactions, care, and medications with accuracy Provide education and resources to patients and their families, fostering informed participation in care Make thoughtful assignments and delegate appropriately to support effective, compassionate care deliveryExclusive Benefits and Travel Perks:
