Qualifications:

Active NY RN license (verified via NURSYS) At least 2 years of recent ED experience, including pediatric care Previous travel nursing experience required Current

AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC

certifications

EPIC EMR

proficiency required Ability to float as needed; charge nurse capability highly preferred Must provide an up-to-date resume, skills checklist, and valid driver's license with matching address

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-focused care for all ages, including acute, trauma, and psychiatric cases Rapid assessment and intervention for common ED conditions: stroke, sepsis, MI, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest Administer complex drips/medications (pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation agents) Apply specialized equipment use (Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun) Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC; support safe transitions of care Float between units as assigned and adapt to diverse teams
