Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Experience the excitement of living and working in historic Boston, MA—where world-renowned hospitals and diverse communities create a dynamic environment for emergency nursing professionals. In this travel role, you'll broaden your expertise within a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department, complete with a pediatric pod and dedicated Acute Mental Health area. Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week Days, evenings, and nights available; rotating required for day roles (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a) with low rotation frequency Every other weekend rotation Night positions are not required to rotateQualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP and TNCC certifications strongly preferred Proficiency withEPIC ASAP EMR
Strong assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education skillsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive emergency care to diverse age groups and acuity levels Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4 Float to other areas as required to support department needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes Document all care activities accurately withinEPIC ASAP
