Desired Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license (California required) Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experienceCertifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC
required;TNCC/ATCN/CEN
highly desired Proficiency in caring for patients from birth through geriatrics Strong triage, rapid assessment, and emergency intervention skills Experience with electronic health records and ED flow sheetsKey Responsibilities:
Perform timely and thorough patient assessments upon admission and throughout each shift Develop, implement, and continually update patient care plans Administer and monitor medications and treatments in strict accordance with safety protocols Maintain clear, accurate, and detailed documentation with appropriate legal and professional standards Communicate efficiently with physicians and healthcare team; utilize SBAR for handoffs Educate patients and families based on assessed needs, using appropriate resources Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and respond to emergency situations following established policies Apply infection control procedures, patient safety protocols, and participate in disaster preparednessTravel & Professional Perks:
