Working as a travel RN in this setting introduces you to a range of clinical scenarios—admitting patients, providing symptom management, or navigating the sensitive end-of-life journey in hospice. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, gain exposure to innovative charting methods like Epic, and develop adaptability as you manage evolving patient needs and daily schedules.
Schedule/Hours:
13-week assignment, 40 guaranteed hours per week (not including orientation week) Day shifts, 10 hours (8:00-18:00) Two pattern options: Thurs-Sun OR Sat-Tues No on-call/call-back requirements Travel 50-100 miles/day; 7-7.5 visits per dayQualifications & Experience:
Active WI RN license, BLS (AHA), valid driver's license 1-2 years of current home health and hospice nursing required Proficiency with OASIS and Epic charting Proven adaptability, strong time management, and independence Physical ability to manage frequent driving, stair climbing, and unpredictable home environmentsCOVID-19
Vaccination (medical/religious exemptions honored)Responsibilities:
Provide holistic care to adults with chronic diseases and complex medical needs Conduct admissions, symptom management, and supportive hospice visits Document accurately and timely in Epic Adjust to fluctuating daily assignments and environmentsBenefits & Perks:
