Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current and valid RN license Minimum one year of recent experience in a PACU or critical care environment Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and collaborative skills for effective teamwork Ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs in a busy recovery unit

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor post-anesthesia patients for complications and respond rapidly to changes Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital sign monitoring and pain management Administer prescribed medications and IV fluids, adhering strictly to safety protocols Collaborate closely with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families on post-operative expectations and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
