With a small-unit environment—typically maintaining only four active ICU beds—your expertise will be essential, and your voice will matter. You'll gain hands-on exposure to diverse patient populations and diagnoses, enhancing your skills in titrating complex drips and interpreting cardiac strips independently. First-time travelers are welcomed, making this an ideal stepping stone for nurses ready to embrace new challenges.

Schedule/Hours:

6:00 am - 6:30 pm Self-scheduling available; input your preferred shifts, balanced by the manager Every other weekend required Two major holidays per year

Desired Qualifications:

Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, and PALS Proficient in interpreting ECG strips Comfortable titrating drips (including Amigo, Cardizem, Precedex, Leva, insulin) Adaptable to floating to MedSurg, ED, and PACU as needed Professional and clean appearance—no color restrictions for scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care to critically ill adult patients—no pediatrics in ICU Actively participate in core ICU functions with nurse:patient ratios of 1:2 Collaborate with in-house hospitalist and respiratory therapy as required Maintain rigorous, compassionate standards in a fast-paced environment Engage fully in your orientation (1-2 days specific to the unit)
