Job Description
Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Advance your nursing career with a specialized role in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses who excel under pressure and are dedicated to delivering expert care to critically ill patients. Engage with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient support, leveraging your skills in critical thinking, assessment, and advanced clinical interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid RN license in good standing Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an ICU setting Advanced knowledge of critical care protocols and equipment BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment and communication skills Experience responding to rapid changes in patient statusKey Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting vital signs and responding to emergencies Administer medications, IV drips, blood products, and other critical therapies as ordered Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, treatments, and ICU protocols Maintain strict infection control standards and ensure patient safety at all timesSchedule/Hours:
