Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Advance your nursing career in an intensive care environment, providing top-quality patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse with ICU experience. This contract opportunity involves delivering comprehensive and compassionate support to adult patients with complex medical needs, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the highest standards of critical care. Qualifications and Experience Active RN license in good standing Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain before start date) Strong assessment, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and modern ICU technology Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Schedule Contract position, full-time hours Rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, or holidays as required by unit needs Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor critically ill patients, implement care plans, and promptly respond to evolving conditions Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care Support and educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Uphold infection control and patient safety procedures at all times Benefits Opportunity to broaden clinical skills in a dynamic ICU environment Supportive professional network with ongoing growth and development Access to a variety of contract assignments with established healthcare institutions If you are a dedicated critical care RN ready for your next assignment, we encourage you to apply today and bring your expertise to a team committed to excellence in patient care.
