Schedule/Hours:
Day shift: 0700-1930 Weekend rotation: every other No on call Pending manager approval for requested time off
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years current ICU nursing experience required Experience with CRRT, especially NxStage preferred Active RN license with BLS and ACLS; NIHSS preferred EPIC charting experience preferred Covid vaccine required
Desired Skills & Experience:
Competency in vent/trach care, invasive line management (A-line, CVP, Swann), post-surgical and post-cath recovery, fresh heart procedures, CVVH, balloon pumps, and managing drains, tubes, and chest tubes Adaptability to float across ICU, intermediate, emergency, and observation units Teamwork and communication skills, with willingness to collaborate with charge nurses, intensivists, pharmacists, and specialized support staff
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based ICU care for general, surgical, and cardiac/vascular patient populations Prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes in a Level III trauma, Level II NICU, and Primary Stroke Center environment Maintain detailed documentation in EPIC and ensure clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
