Schedule/Hours:
Travel position (specific hours provided during interview/placement process)
Required Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) Current state license in good standing, or eligible for licensure Previous experience as an IR Tech (Interventional Radiology Technologist) preferred Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, equipment operation, and sterile technique Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills BLS certification required (additional ACLS a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with and perform imaging procedures for interventional radiology, ensuring patient safety and comfort Operate and maintain radiologic equipment with accuracy and care Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff during image-guided procedures Prepare and position patients, explaining processes and monitoring for adverse reactions Document procedures and maintain accurate imaging records Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
