Schedule/Hours:

Travel assignment; flexible scheduling typical for IR Tech roles

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate expertise in selecting exposure factors, positioning, and consistently producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality Prepare and instruct patients for examinations, assisting radiologists during interventional procedures Operate imaging equipment efficiently; promptly report malfunctions Complete assigned procedures in a timely manner, assist with department workflow and room turnover Uphold medication security protocols and maintain confidentiality using secure system access Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS Respond to technical inquiries professionally, providing excellent phone etiquette Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain sensitivity to patients' rights

Qualifications:

Current BLS (American Heart Association required) At least two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist NYS license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) ARRT certification required; VIR certification preferred
