Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Travel Discover the rewarding opportunity to work as an IR Tech in Lathrop, CA—a community conveniently located near both the Central Valley and Northern California attractions. As a traveler in this dynamic cardiac and interventional radiology setting, you'll collaborate closely with an expert team and gain exposure to STEMI cases, advanced interventions, and rapidly evolving technologies. Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts No floating to other units 1-2 days of floor-specific orientation
Key Responsibilities:
Perform specialized imaging procedures in a busy Cath Lab & IR environment featuring 4 suites Handle an average caseload of 15-20 procedures per day Utilize Merge Hemo system and work alongside Siemens/Phillips equipment (prior experience is beneficial but not required) Manage critically ill patients, including those with STEMI and ventilator needs, assisted by round-the-clock respiratory therapists and pharmacists Participate in call rotation with a 30-minute response time Collaborate with charge nurses, cardiologists, and a multidisciplinary team for top-quality patient care
Qualifications:
ARRT certification and California Fluoroscopy permit required Strong background in interventional radiology, including coronary, peripheral, balloon pump, and Impella expertise Experience with laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, IABP, FFR, angiojet, and related technologies Comfort working in high-acuity, fast-paced environments Prior exposure to STEMI cases Familiarity with Merge system is a plus Completion of all MyJourney onboarding modules prior to arrival (no exceptions)
