Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate interventional radiology equipment efficiently and safely Assist physicians with image-guided procedures including angiograms, stent placements, and biopsies Adhere strictly to safety standards for patients and staff Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper technique Monitor patient reactions, maintain accurate documentation and update patient records Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient care Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly
Qualifications:
ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, with current registry in Radiography and Interventional Radiology Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain) BLS certification (AHA) Prior experience as an IR Tech, preferably in a hospital or busy clinical setting Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety
