Travel assignment with flexible scheduling
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammographic exams, including advanced procedures like clip placements, drainages, and stereotactic biopsies Ensure accurate patient identification, order verification, and thorough preparation for each exam Operate state-of-the-art mammography equipment, selecting proper techniques and positioning for optimal diagnostic results Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff in accordance with ALARA and regulatory standards Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new procedures and equipment, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development Accurately complete required documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
Qualifications:
Certified and registered in Mammography (ARRT (M) or equivalent) Active, unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license as required by Utah Experience performing diagnostic mammography and related interventional procedures Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
