Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Credentialed in Mammography and Radiologic Technology (certification required) Hands-on experience with mammography exams and equipment Proficiency with advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages Demonstrated ability to work independently, using sound judgment and initiative Familiarity with safety standards including ALARA, and ability to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient identification and order verification for diagnostic safety Prepare patients for exams and ensure comfort throughout procedures Operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Utilize radiation protection protocols to safeguard patients and staff Maintain current knowledge of new imaging techniques and equipment Complete all required documentation and image storage with accuracy and timeliness
