Prepare patients for exams, ensuring comfort and understanding. Perform routine and advanced mammography procedures, including stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages, following department protocols. Operate mammographic equipment, maneuvering and adjusting techniques to consistently produce high-quality images. Employ radiation protection measures in compliance with all ALARA program requirements. Stay updated on the latest imaging procedures and technology for continuous professional growth. Maintain accurate documentation and required records in line with regulatory standards (JCAHO, Utah State Bureau of Radiation Control). Qualifications ARRT (M) certification required. Proven experience in mammography, including advanced procedures. Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols. Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
