PM Key Qualifications:

Active RN license with current credentials BLS and ACLS certifications NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification At least one year of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing Permanent address located 50 miles or more from the facility Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork abilities

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based nursing care for medical-surgical patients, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring for changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to implement patient-centered treatment plans Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record Respond swiftly to emergencies and follow established protocols for acute changes Educate patients and families on post-acute care, medications, and follow-up instructions Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment while adapting to the demands of a busy Med Surg unit
