This travel nursing opportunity immerses you in a renowned regional medical center, home to centers of excellence in neurology, oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, surgery, women's health, and critical care. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across a 355-bed acute care setting that includes a 32-bed Emergency Department, a premier orthopedic center, general and vascular surgery suites, and specialized behavioral health facilities.
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation held twice monthly Flexible travel assignments with supportive onboarding
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care on the Medical-Surgical floor, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5 Monitor and care for post-surgical patients, with an emphasis on orthopedic recoveries Collaborate with specialized teams in post-op, general medicine, and behavioral health units Conduct accurate documentation, medication administration, and thorough patient education Adapt to a fast-paced environment, utilizing evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Active RN license (valid in NC or compact states) 1+ year of current Med Surg RN experience required Previous experience with post-surgical/orthopedic patients is highly advantageous Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills BLS certification (additional certifications preferred)
