Qualifications:

Active RN license with current eligibility in NJ Competency in assessment skills for patient populations from pediatric to geriatric Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills Understanding of documentation standards and EMR usage Professionalism, accountability, and team collaboration required

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough and accurate patient assessments across the care continuum Deliver competent, evidence-based clinical care to diverse patient populations Maintain detailed, timely documentation of the nursing process and patient education Foster a positive, patient-focused environment, prioritizing satisfaction and family engagement Uphold HIPAA confidentiality guidelines and National Patient Safety Goals Safely utilize emergency and surgical equipment, adapting care for various procedures and anesthesia types Contribute to perioperative team dynamics, prioritizing patient needs and safety Provide thorough patient and family education before and after surgical procedures Review and facilitate completion of Pre Admission Testing orders
