This opportunity, located within a highly regarded medical setting on a 56-bed Med Surg Telemetry unit, allows nurses to expand their expertise with varied patient populations and exposure to state-of-the-art electronic medical records (Epic). Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll strengthen your clinical acumen, improve adaptability by floating to other units as needed, and build an impressive professional portfolio.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts: 0645-1915 or 1845-0715 36 hours guaranteed weekly Weekend shifts may vary RN positions: Two 12-hour call shifts required per 13-week contract
Qualifications:
RN license active in ME Minimum 2 years' Med Surg Telemetry experience BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Collaborative, accountable team player Flexibility to float between Med Surg units
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to general med surg telemetry patients Safely manage 1:4-5 patient ratio during days, 1:5-6 at night Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR Participate in ongoing education and training modules Foster a professional, supportive workplace atmosphere
