Job Description

This travel nursing role in a dynamic Med/Surg environment is ideal for professionals eager to broaden their clinical skills while working alongside highly collaborative teams. You'll play a central role in delivering primary, preventive, surgical, and specialty care to a mix of adult, occasional pediatric, outpatient, and swing-bed patients. Engage with innovative care models and leadership styles, and make a significant impact in a patient-focused, community-driven hospital setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift position Travelers start on Wednesdays; for 48-hour contracts, the first week's orientation guarantees 36 hours due to the midweek start
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and deliver holistic, evidence-based nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide leadership to meet diverse patient care needs Deliver compassionate care addressing physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs Communicate closely with the
Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor Desired Qualifications:
At least 3 years of recent acute care experience (Med/Surg strongly preferred) Experience with Meditech is a plus Valid Vermont or multi-state RN license Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications (must be obtained before start) Comfortable managing both adult and occasional pediatric patients (not a pediatric-specific unit)
