Qualifications & Experience:

Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent MRI technologist credentials required Active state license as required for MRI technologists Prior experience in hospital-based MRI imaging strongly preferred Adept at following imaging protocols and safety standards Excellent communication and organizational skills Dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of MRI procedures as ordered by physicians, producing optimal images for interpretation Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting technical issues promptly Accurately position patients, provide clear instructions, and monitor for comfort and safety Strictly adhere to safety procedures, especially when working with patients with implants or contraindications Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow team members to facilitate efficient workflow Maintain thorough, accurate records and assist with imaging QA processes Support patient education initiatives regarding MRI safety and procedure preparation
