Job Description

Schedule:
2 x 12-hour shifts per week 2 x 8-hour shifts per week Weekend and call rotation Flexibility to accommodate departmental needs In this role, you will: Perform MRI procedures and utilize advanced imaging techniques for diagnostic interpretation by physicians Prepare and comfort patients, providing clear instruction to minimize anxiety and encourage cooperation Apply best practices in MRI safety for both patients and staff Select and operate MRI systems, coils, gating devices, and related equipment Position patients for optimal imaging while ensuring their safety and comfort Administer contrast media and maintain venous access as needed Follow aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout Evaluate image quality, manage digital data, and ensure records are maintained in PACS Deliver education and practical guidance to colleagues and students Respond effectively to emergencies using basic life support skills
Desired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required) Experience as an MRI technologist Current ARRT Radiography and
ARRT MRI
registration Approved BLS certification
