Minimum:
A.A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology NYS License and certification as a radiologic, nuclear medicine, or ultrasound technologist Formal MRI-specific training preferred AMA-approved 2-year Radiology Technology program required Previous diagnostic radiology experience; 1-2 years MRI experience preferred Maintains 12 CEC annually inRadiologic Technology Core Responsibilities:
Perform technical assignments in MRI, exercising advanced knowledge and skill Conduct diagnostic MRI studies as ordered, adhering to infection control protocols and universal precautions Deliver care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics Operate MRI equipment and related supplies, ensuring image quality and procedural accuracy Utilize RIS and PACS systems for patient data, imaging, and troubleshooting Strictly follow magnet safety protocols for all personnel and patients Administer contrast media following established guidelines and manage emergent reactions appropriatelyBenefits & Perks:
