Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 7:00pm On call: Holidays onlyKey Responsibilities:
Provide safe, age-appropriate care by independently performing MRI exams according to precise department procedures. Obtain thorough clinical histories, assess for contraindications, and ensure proper patient identification and comfort throughout exams. Operate, calibrate, and maintain MRI equipment; ensure images meet clinically acceptable standards. Administer or prep for contrast media according to protocols; verify patient details and laboratory results. Observe patient conditions and respond to emergencies, collaborating with physicians and other technologists as needed. Educate and guide patients and their families regarding procedures, facilitating cooperation and minimizing anxiety. Maintain clean and orderly MRI suites and support clerical activities. Uphold regulatory compliance, safety standards, and hospital codes of conduct.Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R required; minimum of one year experience in MRI. Current ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification. BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required. Proficiency in all aspects of MRI, patient positioning, magnet safety, anatomy, and pathology. Exceptional communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.Benefits & Travel Perks:
