Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Demonstrated experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital setting Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient screening procedures Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Strong understanding of imaging equipment operation and troubleshooting Meticulous attention to detail in image quality and patient documentation Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct MRI procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety Review patient histories, explain procedures, and confirm safety protocols prior to each scan Position patients accurately and comfortably for optimal image acquisition Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to established guidelines Monitor images for clarity and accuracy, alerting medical staff to significant findings as appropriate Adhere to all infection control, confidentiality, and safety standards Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and imaging logs
