1 Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of recent experience for a travel assignment at a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-recognized teaching hospital. Details 456-bed tertiary care hospital with Level 1 Trauma designation, 5-time Magnet recognition, and teaching status MRI unit supporting inpatient, outpatient, and ICU patient populations GE 1.5T and 3T scanners used; cardiac MRI experience preferred Procedures include abdominal and head MRA/MRV, neck MRV, cardiac MRI with/without contrast, brain, cervical, lumbar, and spinal trauma imaging Charting via Epic 3x12-hour day shifts, Sunday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM On-call required approximately 1 night per week from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM Regular floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required Block scheduling is not available Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI specialty experience required, including at least 1 full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no employment gap greater than 90 days CurrentBLS, ARRT
(MR), and ARRT (R) certifications required Both Kansas and Missouri licenses, or a compact license, must be in hand at time of consideration, as floating between facilities may be required License required if applicable Proficiency with isolation precautions and preparation and/or administration of contrast media required Experience with GE equipment, PACS, T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging, and peripheral IV placement preferred Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted 2 professional references required: at least one must be at the supervisor level or above, and all references must be from individuals who have worked with the candidate within the past year Additional Information First-time travelers are eligible for this position provided they meet the 2-year experience requirement RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the assignment Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment Navy scrubs required Parking is complimentary Online compliance modules are required to be completed prior to the start date and annually thereafter SSN and any RTO or scheduling requests must be provided at the time of considerationSimilar jobs in Kansas City, MO
