Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic environment supporting a leading regional healthcare provider known for its advanced cardiac and neurosurgery programs. This contract imaging position focuses on MRI services and plays a vital part in delivering high-quality diagnostic care within an accredited, state-of-the-art facility serving a broad community.
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation sessions available weekly on
Mondays Key Qualifications:
Current MRI technologist certification (as required by state and accrediting bodies) Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for travel status Ability to present all required certifications prior to your start date; the facility may request additional certifications if needed Solid understanding of MRI safety and protocols, with demonstrated competency in imaging techniques Experience with a range of MRI equipment and software systems Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach Previous experience in acute care imaging is strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI scans as prescribed by clinical staff, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to coordinate patient care and imaging needs Adhere to all regulatory and facility guidelines for imaging, patient confidentiality, and documentation Assess images for accuracy, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide input on quality improvement initiatives Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety standards
