Schedule/Hours:
Rotating shifts and on-call duties as required
Qualifications/Experience:
Expertise in general nuclear medicine, PET, and nuclear cardiology procedures Proficiency with computerized image data manipulation and EPIC or similar platforms Ability to maintain rigorous quality control of instrumentation and accurate documentation per ACR standards Solid knowledge of radionuclide handling, including safe storage, usage, and disposal per regulatory guidelines Track record of effective teamwork in multidisciplinary settings; comfortable assisting radiologists in exams and invasive procedures Willingness to instruct within the School of Radiologic Technology, as assigned
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate daily patient exam assignments Collect and record detailed patient information and histories, verify patient identifiers, and ensure protocol compliance Produce and evaluate diagnostic images, providing protection and immobilization as needed Monitor patients throughout exams and manage access to medication storage Maintain equipment calibration and hot lab documentation; promptly report malfunctions Rotate across departments to broaden skillset and support overall department excellence
