Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required At least one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Proficient in preparation, calibration, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals Strong commitment to patient safety and radiation protection Effective communication skills for patient and family education Ability to self-direct and work under general supervision Willingness to serve as a mentor or preceptor to less experienced techs
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange and prepare patients for nuclear medicine examinations Produce high-quality NM images to assist in medical diagnosis Adhere strictly to department protocols and patient safety guidelines Prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation for patients Educate patients and families pre- and post-procedure Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and team members to optimize workflow Evaluate and support the competency development of peers when required
