This assignment is designed for Occupational Therapists seeking to expand their expertise through exposure to diverse workplace practices and new leadership styles in a hospital setting. Here you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, building your résumé with valuable acute-care experience and cultivating lasting professional relationships. Enjoy downtime exploring charming downtown shops, nearby historic sites, or spending weekends discovering local events and scenic trails in the area. Your adventure in Saline is as enriching outside the hospital as it is within.
Schedule & Location:
18-week travel contract Day shifts: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Rotating weekends: 2 shifts/month required Holiday coverage: July 4th and
Labor Day Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license Experience in hospital/acute care (OT) Proficient in Epic electronic health records Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Adaptable, collaborative, and compassionate
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients in an acute hospital environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient-centered care Document progress in Epic system with accuracy and timeliness Educate patients and families on therapy regimens and recovery plans
