Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services within a hospital setting, supporting patients in regaining independence and improving their quality of life. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in rehabilitation care.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license Previous experience delivering therapy in a hospital environment is strongly preferred In-depth knowledge of therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic interventions Strong organizational and documentation skills to track patient progress Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative patient care Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team

Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the hospital setting Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence Engage in patient and family education regarding therapy approaches, adaptive techniques, and rehabilitation goals Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapy professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes Accurately document all treatments, patient responses, and progress in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Adjust therapy plans as appropriate, based on ongoing assessments and patient needs
