Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Discover the charm of Gooding, Idaho—a welcoming destination renowned for its friendly community and access to remarkable outdoor adventures. Whether you're drawn to serene Idaho landscapes or seeking enriching professional opportunities, working here as a travel occupational therapist offers a perfect blend of career growth and meaningful exploration during your downtime. This travel role places you at the center of a dynamic hospital environment, providing occupational therapy for 8 to 10 patients daily in acute inpatient and swing bed settings. You'll expand your experience through exposure to a range of diagnoses including ortho-total joints, stroke, generalized neurological cases, and patients from the general ICU. When census needs shift, gain additional perspective through occasional floating to neighboring facilities. With every shift, you'll refine your skills while adopting best practices from diverse teams and seasoned clinical leadership—an invaluable addition to your resume.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts weekly (Monday through Friday) 8:30 am-5:00 pm; no self-scheduling 2-3 days of department-specific orientation Holiday coverage may occasionally be required
Professional Requirements:
Current OT licensure and BLS certification Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient or rehab experience Experience with EPIC EMR or willingness to quickly learn Scrub color guidelines apply; choices provided upon hire Open to first-time travelers ready to learn and grow
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality occupational therapy services in acute inpatient and swing bed settings Assess, develop, and implement individualized care plans for a diverse patient population Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and report to the dedicated OT manager Adapt to census needs by floating to affiliated locations as required
