Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted RN license Proven experience caring for medical-surgical oncology patients Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Current BLS certification (and ONS/chemotherapy certification highly preferred) Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, compassionate care to oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit Administer medications, chemotherapy, and manage central lines as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans Provide patient and family education on procedures, treatments, and after-care Monitor patient responses and make timely interventions based on clinical changes Keep thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
