Responsibilities:
Perform thorough patient assessments and deliver skilled nursing care as prescribed by the physician and aligned with current best practices Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting assessments and treatments, managing call lights, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and participate in updating/revising care plans with the healthcare team Accurately process physician/provider orders, performing ordered care in a complete and timely manner Diligently follow up on medication changes and clarify orders to ensure patient safety
Qualifications:
Active RN license (state recognized or compact) Minimum 1 year of relevant oncology and/or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred Proficiency in the basic pathophysiology of cancer and familiarity with evidence-based oncology care Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills
