As a travel nurse in this community, you'll have a unique chance to grow professionally by working alongside accomplished oncology teams in a leading regional cancer center. This role allows you to broaden your expertise, engage in innovative workplace practices, and witness leadership approaches that set the standard in oncology care. Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour day shifts each week
Monday:
8:00 am start
Tuesday:
7:00 am start
Wednesday:
7:30 am start
Friday:
6:30 am start No weekends or holidays required
What You'll Contribute:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for oncology/medical-surgical patients Administer chemotherapy (active chemo certification needed) Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams Advocate for patient well-being, educate families, and collaborate with physicians to optimize care Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital standards Foster a positive environment for patients facing challenging diagnoses
Preferred Qualifications:
Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact eligibility) Chemo certification required Prior experience in oncology or medical-surgical nursing strongly preferred Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
