This travel nursing opportunity will place you in a busy operating room environment, focusing on a range of cases including heavy Orthopedics, Urology, Spine procedures, and Robotic-assisted surgeries. You'll benefit from collaborating with skilled multidisciplinary teams, adopting diverse workplace approaches, and refining your leadership and critical thinking skills—hallmarks for advancing your professional development.
Schedule:
10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (08:00-18:30) Weekend and call coverage: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month, with additional call as needed Flexibility to float to other locations if required
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and address the holistic needs of surgical patients Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with your healthcare team Offer clear instructions and support to patients and families Exercise exceptional clinical judgment to identify and respond to changes in patient conditions Foster a positive, communicative, and professional workplace culture Participate in ongoing education to remain current with best practices Ensure meticulous documentation in all patient records
Qualifications:
Active Illinois RN license Current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications Recent operating room experience; strong orthopedic, urology, or spine background preferred Willingness to participate in call rotation and float as necessary
