Hours:

Travelers begin their assignment on Wednesdays. Orientation week guarantees 36 hours for 48-hour contracts due to midweek start.

Participation in the on-call rotation:

one night per week and every fourth weekend; candidates must be able to report and start within 30 minutes when on call.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver perioperative care throughout all stages: pre-op, intra-op, and PACU recovery. Serve capably in a variety of OR roles, including circulator, scrub, and PACU nurse. Document patient data accurately and uphold surgical safety processes. Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to provide seamless, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited RN program. Active Vermont or multi-state RN license. Minimum two years' perioperative nursing experience. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Adaptable, with strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
