Schedule/Hours Travel assignment; schedules may include on-call shifts and after-hours coverage Qualifications & Requirements Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program (BSN highly valued) Valid, unrestricted RN license (NM license or compact license accepted) BLS certification required (American Heart Association) ACLS required (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) PALS preferred (or willing to obtain if needed for services) CNOR preferred Minimum 1-2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience strongly preferred Experience in Critical Access Hospitals, rural, or small facility settings is a plus Strong proficiency in aseptic technique, EMR documentation, and perioperative standards Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care with an emphasis on patient safety and advocacy Prepare and maintain OR suites, ensuring aseptic and sterile techniques throughout procedures Serve as OR circulator for general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, endoscopic, and minor trauma cases Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and provide hand-offs for patient transitions Respond swiftly to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Benefits and Travel Perks Tax-advantaged stipends for housing and meals Travel assistance for smooth transitions between assignments Premium compensation for your invaluable skills and flexibility Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision 401(k) for your long-term financial wellness Enhance your job security by gaining sought-after rural and critical access hospital experience Take the next step in your OR nursing journey and immerse yourself in new clinical challenges while discovering the beauty and culture of San Rafael, NM.
