Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week 12-hour shifts Day/Evening rotation: 7:00 AM (day shift), 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM (evening shift) Every 3rd weekend as needed Every other holiday, as scheduled On call: 1x per schedule May occasionally float between surgical units
Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR nursing experience (level 1 trauma preferred) Scrub experience in at least 5 of the following: general, gynecology, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatric, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, spine Excellent communication skills and adaptability BLS certification (required) Positive, proactive attitude
Preferred Experience:
Neurosurgery and vascular surgical experience Broader beyond only general, GYN, or GU scrubbing
Responsibilities:
Prepare and circulate in a busy OR setting with 17 fully-equipped suites Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Provide perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and efficient case flow Float as needed across surgical departments
