Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic role within a high-acuity Operating Room known for delivering exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art medical center. This contract nursing opportunity places you in a nationally recognized trauma center, where your contributions will directly impact surgical outcomes across an impressive spectrum of specialties. With a 1:1 patient ratio, you will be part of a collaborative environment that values both experience and growth—welcoming everyone from new graduates to seasoned professionals.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shift options available: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (subject to availability) Set scheduling structure for consistency Minimal to no floating required, except in rare COVID-related instances
Qualifications & Experience:
Current RN license required Surgical/procedural experience preferred, but not mandatory Adaptable and team-oriented, with the ability to work alongside both veteran staff and newer colleagues Willingness to learn and work with a wide range of surgical specialties, including trauma, robotics, orthopedics, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, and more
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care for diverse surgical cases, from general surgery to advanced specialties Utilize Meditech for electronic documentation Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other OR team members Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols; wear hospital-provided scrubs
