Schedule/Hours:
Travelers start on Wednesdays Orientation week guarantees 36 hours for 48-hour contracts due to midweek startOn-call:
One night per week and every fourth weekend; must be ready to begin a case within 30 minutes when on callKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care across pre-op, intraoperative, and PACU phases Rotate roles as circulator, scrub, and PACU nurse to support efficient surgical operations Uphold patient safety via AORN standards, thorough documentation, and adherence to surgical time-outs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including surgeons and anesthesia providers—to ensure coordinated, quality careRequired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program Active Vermont or multi-state RN license Minimum two years of perioperative nursing experience BLS certification (American Heart Association) Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking abilities Flexibility to work across perioperative roles (cross-training provided as needed)Perks & Benefits:
