Desired Qualifications:
Active RN licensure (current and unencumbered) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room or perioperative setting Proficiency with OR protocols, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred Effective communication, quick thinking, and adaptability in high-pressure situations
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients throughout all phases of perioperative care Prepare operating rooms and ensure aseptic environments for surgical procedures Monitor patient status pre-op, intra-op, and post-op, promptly responding to changes in condition Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs Document nursing care and maintain patient safety as a top priority
