Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; hours/schedule will be shared during the interview processKey Qualifications:
Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred Minimum 1-2 years of operating room nursing experience Valid Alaska RN license (in good standing) Current BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred National Certification in Surgery/PACU preferred Proficient oral and written communication skills Familiarity with AORN standards and surgical/medical equipment Ability to manage perioperative care for patients across age groupsCOVID-19
vaccination requiredResponsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for populations ranging from newborns to elderly Direct and coordinate nursing activities based on industry standards Serve as a resource for staff members and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Supervise administrative assistants, schedulers, and CSR technicians alongside the Charge Nurse Administer treatments, medications, and interpret diagnostic results Educate patients and their families, adapting approaches to diverse backgroundsBenefits & Perks:
