As an Operating Room RN, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with esteemed specialists and surgical teams, exposed to a Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital setting known for its innovative approach to care delivery. Expand your clinical acumen and gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology, including DaVinci robotic systems, within a supportive, collaborative atmosphere.
Schedule:
Days, 3x12-hour shifts (Friday - Sunday) 36 hours/week guaranteed Weekend and call requirements as scheduled
Required Qualifications:
Current RN licensure meeting Missouri state criteria American Heart Association BLS certification Minimum 2 years' experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma (teaching hospital experience accepted) Scrub and circulator proficiency, with at least 1 year interventional vascular and conscious sedation competency
Preferred Experience:
Additional years in Level 1 trauma setting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for diverse patient cases, from outpatient to critical care Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and safety Assist vascular surgeons in both the OR and Hybrid Imaging suite Uphold patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with care standards and facility values
