Schedule/Hours:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Every other weekend required Every other holiday scheduled
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current RN license, eligible to practice in Iowa Previous experience in an Operating Room (OR) or perioperative setting strongly preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Proven ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Provide safe, effective nursing care throughout surgical procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor, assess, and document patient status before, during, and after surgery Adhere to infection control standards and hospital policies Mentor and support colleagues and new staff, sharing best practices and fostering teamwork
