Key Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room setting Proficiency with perioperative procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills Adaptability in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
Circulate and/or scrub for a range of surgical cases across specialties Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, medications, and equipment Monitor patient status throughout procedures, communicating any changes to the medical team Uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient advocacy Document care accurately and efficiently
